DIY-Optics GmbH is transitioning from optical engineering services to femtosecond laser manufacturing. Our PulseBrick development programme focuses on making ultrashort pulse laser material processing more accessible through a simplified design and a manufacturing approach built around cost and scalability.
The opportunity
For machine builders and smaller manufacturers, adopting ultrashort pulse processing involves more than the laser purchase: application development, optical integration and support also matter. We are building a business that connects laser development with practical engineering and material processing services.
What we are building
- PulseBrick: an ultrashort pulse laser platform under development for material processing and OEM integration.
- Application engineering: optical design, simulation and integration support.
- Processing services: customer enquiries and feasibility work that help define application requirements.
Investment and partnership discussions
We welcome discussions with investors and industrial partners interested in photonics, laser manufacturing and precision material processing. Our priorities include performance validation, production readiness, test capability and customer application qualification.
Product development is ongoing. Current measured results, remaining milestones, commercial assumptions and financing requirements are available for discussion with the team. Product targets and forecasts should be assessed separately from demonstrated performance and confirmed orders.
