DIY-Optics GmbH is transitioning from optical engineering services to femtosecond laser manufacturing. We are developing PulseBrick to make industrial ultrashort-pulse laser processing more accessible through a simplified product architecture, practical application support and a cost-conscious manufacturing approach.
The investment opportunity
We are opening a CHF 700,000 financing round to complete product industrialisation, strengthen production and test capability, and accelerate customer qualification and sales.

Current stage
- A working PulseBrick prototype and core ultrashort-pulse laser architecture.
- A second design iteration covering amplifier variants and an improved pulse compressor is underway.

Use of funds
- Product industrialisation: complete performance validation, engineering refinements and production-ready documentation.
- Production and test: procure equipment and components, strengthen assembly and quality-control capability, and prepare scalable manufacturing.
- Sales and customer qualification: expand demonstrations, application trials, OEM discussions and commercial activity.

- PulseBrick: an essential ultrashort-pulse laser platform for material processing and OEM integration.
- Application engineering: optical design, simulation, beam delivery and integration support.
- Processing capability: feasibility work and customer trials that connect product development with real manufacturing needs.
