From an idea to a processing plan
Whether you need a prototype, a custom aperture or help developing a repeatable process, start with an application review. We assess the material, geometry, quality requirements and available laser configuration before agreeing a quotation.
- Custom apertures: laser-cut slits, pinholes and application-specific shapes.
- Material processing enquiries: micromachining, marking, engraving, copper patterning and selective material removal, subject to feasibility.
- Process development: define a trial plan, compare results and identify the next engineering step.
- Jobshop enquiries: prototypes and small batches, with quantity, inspection and delivery agreed in advance.
What to include in your enquiry
- Material grade, thickness and any coating or multilayer stack.
- A drawing or non-confidential sketch with critical dimensions and tolerances.
- Required finish, acceptable edge quality and inspection criteria.
- Prototype quantity, expected repeat orders and target delivery date.
- Whether you need processed parts, a feasibility study or a production system.
We can arrange an NDA before you share confidential drawings. Please agree the trial and shipping arrangements with us before sending samples. Trial results determine suitability; the available process and laser source are confirmed for your project.
